Regional prices are broader estimates or averages calculated to represent a larger geographic area, often used to estimate fuel costs for unsurveyed locations based on economic regions.
The Division of Community and Regional Affairs (DCRA) surveys fuel prices in 100 specific communities bi-annually. For communities not included in this survey, regional averages are used to provide estimated prices.
